Step 2: Review
Appliances are added up and total
equivalent watts are calculated. You may add additional
appliances if desired. The table will
automatically recalculate as items are changed or added.
View list of appliances chosen.
Add your own appliances.
Change appliances from list.
(Percent Run Time is percent of time appliance is used in one
hour or in one full day.)
(Wattage ratings are only estimated per appliance, if actual
wattage is known change below.)
Step 3: Location
How much solar power you can harvest
depends upon your location and the time of year. This
is called the solar index.
Step 4: View
Run Times are calculated from above
information and Results are given for your application and our
HarvesterTM
products.

Click Update to ensure any changes have been entered.
Results Explanation:
- Run Time (Hours) estimates how
long the HarvesterTM will power load with no sun.
- Run Time with Sun (Hours) estimates
how long the HarvesterTM will power load with
solar input when appliance is first turned on.
- Solar Charge Time (Days) estimates
how many days of sun needed to charge battery, determined
by your solar index.
- Wall Charge Time (Hours) estimates
how long to charge the battery from wall only.
- Wall + Sun Charge Time (Hours)
estimates time needed to charge from wall after charged in
one full day of sun, at determined solar index.
Run Times are estimates only, actual
times may vary. Calculations are based upon the following:
- 100% Battery at start.
- Inverter manufacture rated efficiency.
- Battery drain to 15%.
- Charge Times return 100% battery
