SolarOne Lighting Systems are available with a choice of three standard power package configurations. Each Power Package consists of a Solar Panel, 1 or 2 AGM Deep Cycle Batteries, panel mounting hardware and an enclosure. The right package for you will depend on:
Every SolarOne quotation includes a power package selected based on your needs. You will also receive a detailed "Energy Balance Report" that will explain your system's performance for your location and the assumptions that were made for the calculations.

Reliability
At SolarOne, rather than basing our system recommendations on average conditions, we select your system based on the shortest day and longest night, i.e., the minimum solar resource. This ensures that your system will be sized to provide reliable performance all year long. In addition, SolarOne takes the following steps to ensure that you never leave your facility in the dark:
- Your package will be designed to collect slightly more energy than it expends and it will provide run time storage to provide power if there is an extended period of very little or no sun.
- We also include calculations that plan for the impact of temperature, orientation and wire loss on the system.
- Finally, SO-Bright Technology will manage and protect your system through features such as run-time extension, snow sensing and user controllable profiles.
